I have been working in libraries since before graduating from college and during my graduate studies. I do a little bit of everything in the library from working with individual students and faculty to full classes
from selecting to deselecting resources for the entire collection
from individual projects for the Reference collection to group projects with other librarians or faculty members. I've been involved in developing surveys and focus groups and various projects to transform the library into a more user-friendly atmosphere both physically and electronically.\n\nSpecialties: Research of online information and physical resources. Enabling students to become expert researchers.

I help people find information
usually for academic purposes
but not always. I love research and enabling others to be successful in their research endeavors.

Reference assistance for this online university included email and phone conversations. Necessitated very precise details and instructions for using Library tools and resources as no face-to-face interaction with patrons ever occurred.
