Good
Professor Beals' tests were way too long. It has an average of twenty questions, with all short answers. Expect each to be at least more than three paragraphs in order to get full points, according to the test rubric. Basically, it's an essay on given chapters.
Awesome
I took Professor Beals's four week HIST 101 course, he was a fantastic teacher. His lectures are posted however they tend to be quite long, dull, and somewhat useless. The class consist of no homework, a reading project, one other type of project, and one final exam. The final exam was a bit difficult, and there wasn't really a way to prepare for it.
Awesome
I took Prof. Beals' class for the 4-week online summer sem. Grades came from 1 research paper, 1 reader assignment, and 1 final exam that you could work on the questions throughout the entire course. He's also very responsive! You can see that he's passionate about what he does. I'd honestly love to take him again!
Awesome
Prof. Beals' class is easy as long as you don't procrastinate. He's a pretty reasonable grader!! We had 4 take home exams with 15 questions each, 1 weekly assignment, and 1 research paper. He also gives a lot of opportunities for his student to succeed. We had enough time to do the exams. As long as you do the work, it's an easy A!
