I'm an author, independent scholar, and inclusivity advocate. For over 10 years, I worked with Illinois Tech’s richly diverse population to build bridges of understanding on campus and beyond. My multifaceted role included religious and nonreligious worldviews, multicultural affairs, and gender and sexuality services. I led Illinois Tech’s involvement with the President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge from its inception in 2011 to its final year in 2016. An experienced writer and public speaker, I’ve spoken and published in numerous outlets on the subjects of interfaith cooperation, civic engagement, and diversity, including the Parliament of the World’s Religions.
Specialties: Religion; spirituality; pluralism; interfaith; multiculturalism; service; civic engagement; diversity; gender; sexual orientation; LGBTQ+.
Interested in: Speaking engagements; serving on advisory boards; consultancy; new and innovative opportunities to bring people together. Let's talk and get to know each other.
