Good
He goes over the well. Pay attention. Study and your show work. Do homework and come to class.
Good
Prof. Dorn is an underrated teacher. He can get quite distracted in class but he really has a good sense of humor which helps a lot to remember stuff. You can tell that he cares about his students' learning and that he is passionate about teaching. Even though math 5B class is normally difficult, Prof. Dorn makes it fun and he is very accessible for help.
Awful
Majority of the class hours was spent telling jokes and stories throughout the class. He's very unorganized and he gets frustrated when students do not understand the topic. We actually skipped a whole chapter due to falling behind. He isn't so helpful, but he is funny. He would call you up to the board a lot for participation points.
Awesome
This semester, because of COVID-19, we had to switch to online lessons in the middle. But even then, this professor was just as awesome on the internet as he was face-to-face. The test questions he gave during class are very similar to what's in the handouts. Meanwhile online, the tests were pretty much identical to the homework and quiz questions he gave us.
