Poor
I attended lectures and I knew the material well but I barely passed the first midterm. There isn't class participation as well. Prof. Selinger jumps around a lot. I suggest you figure out how to really use the material instead of just studying it. Questions are hard applied ones. I feel like keeping up in this class is a full-time job. He is a tough grader.
Poor
Professor Selinger's lectures seemed pointless and always off topic. I did find his document notes very helpful. However, I would've done better by just studying those, then attending his lectures and being very confused.
Awful
I wouldn't want to take Prof. Selinger for the rest of my degree. It's hard to keep track of his lectures and he doesn't provide word documents to help you study, but he often reads them word for word during lectures. He doesn't actually teach the material at all. Majority of what we learned was done outside of classroon. He's a nice guy but a terrible prof.
