Awesome

Prof. O'Connell is a very endearing man, a bit too happy go lucky sometimes, but it worked for me. The assignments are straightforward and pretty easy. Plus his mentors are always there if you need help. I would recommend this class, it's a great GPA boost.

Professor O'Connell is a stand up guy. He's very understanding and easy going. He gives off high school teacher vibes though. Other than that, he's a great professor.

Change Agent - Digital Strategist - Entrepreneur

A creative thinker that helps organizations implement current digital storytelling strategies while maintaining the traditional values associated with building relationships and achieving business goals.

Over the last 10 years, I have blended my marketing knowledge and passion for creating compelling digital media content with my relational leadership style both within large organizations as well as building my own agency from scratch.

Throughout my career, I have molded my marketing, leadership and relationship building skills into a career working with young talent in the digital media space. I'm a new generation leader that believes in building strong teams through relational leadership and work-life integration. Culture and employee engagement is at the fore front of everything I do.

Top 3 Career Achievements:
1. Summer 2014, I started a 30 day blogging challenge for The Niche Movement that has led to self-publishing my first book The Niche Movement: New Rules to Finding a Career Path You Love that was successfully funded on Kickstarter on August 12, 2014 raising more than $3,500.
2. From 2010-2013 I created a full-service marketing unit for our campus recreation department while exceeding expectations in my previous roles at Rutgers. During this time I tripled our staff, enhanced relationships with our community by increasing social media presence, and negotiated sponsorships.
3. Over the last 10 years I have mentored and presented more than 200 18-28 year olds guiding them in marketing, leadership development and innovative career exploration.

On a personal note, I have a 5 yr old black lab named Luke, I'm a former collegiate golfer, love a good mac n' cheese and some might say that my country music Spotify playlist is the best one out there.
