How Background Music Affects a Preschooler's Attention
Dissertation research on the affect of backgroundmusic on a preschooler's attention. Children were interrupted with background music periodically during a play session. Boys were distracted more than girls
younger children were distracted and lost attention more than older children
and children who had more music background in their home were more attentive to play than children with limited music in the home.
