Former U.S. Marine and Yale graduate. I am a copyright law and intellectual property law expert and a former Cravath, Swaine & Moore attorney.

As an entertainment lawyer and expert consultant in I bring passion to untangling thorny issues copyright, trademark and rights of publicity matters.

I have represented entertainment industry clients such as HBO, the rap group Public Enemy, funk legend George Clinton and Spike Lee.

I am currently an award-winning law professor teaching Contracts, Music law and Entertainment law in Southern California.
