Awful
This is honestly the most boring course at CCRI. Material was easy to understand but having to sit through his lectures was useless. Every class, I either do my homework for that class or any other class. I never actually paid attention but I passed all 3 exams and ended with a B. Overall, it was an easy material but he's really boring.
Good
If you buy into those negative reviews, you're way off base. Professor Fontaine genuinely cares. He's in the college game, not high school. If you're hoping for an easy pass just for attending, think again, he makes you earn it. I found him to be challenging but fair.
Average
I had my doubts because other students said he was dull. But no, he was incredibly cool and captured my interest. Several classmates of mine griped about him. However, the truth is, they were flunking the class since they skipped their homework. He's very friendly to students too. If you're not serious about school yet, this teacher might not be the best match for you.
Good
I was in Professor Kevin Fontaine's class at the Community College of Rhode Island when we had to switch to online classes because of COVID. He was a really kind and supportive teacher. He really cares about all his students. If you can, definitely try to get in one of his classes. He's a great guy.
