Awful
Professor Cantley was absolutely the worst. He was rude, never responded to any emails, and is not effective in teaching the materials at all. For most of the tests, only a few in both classes got an A. It's like 2 out of 60 or so. Overall, if you have low self-esteem or high anxiety, this class isn't for you.
Awful
I devoted more time to Professor Cantley's course than all the other courses combined. The only things that came out of it were disappointing grades and tears. Getting answers to emails and questions is a game of chance. Also, the important concepts are overlooked. And you basically have to learn for yourself. So, good luck if you are not already an accountant.

I worked at C.H. Rubin and Co., CPA's, an Ann Arbor CPA firm from May 1995 through July 2012 and taught 15 different accounting classes (47 times) at Cleary University from 2004 through 2012. I taught a tax class at Concordia in Ann Arbor in 2011.
I finished a master's degree in July of 2012 at Cleary University so I could find a full time job teaching accounting. The degree worked. I now teach accounting at Aquinas College and have done so since August 2012.
Instructor
Cleary specialized in accelerated programs. I taught many accounting classes, including an audit class for graduate students. The courses were six weeks long. Some classes have been distance-learning courses (online), but most have been live lecture. They’ve changed a bit since I left to a more traditional college experience.
