I am not a huge fan of history courses and was not looking forward to this class. Professor O'Reilly completely changed my opinion of history classes! He really wants the best for his students and has extra credit available. There is not a lot of homework and attendance is not mandatory but I highly recommend you to go to class or the tests will be really hard.

Professor O'Reilly is the best instructor I've ever had. He's very understanding, caring and approachable. He would always made sure that your grade was what you wanted it to be. And if you weren't happy with your grade, he came up with something to help you fix it. I don't see any reason how you can get under a C in his classes. I wish there were more professors like him.

Professor O'Reilly is amazing. His lecture style is unique. You won't understand until you're in his class. His class consists of four in-class exam essays for HIS212 at least. Those were based on his lectures, so you should attend to pass. He gives out extra credit as well. Be sure to take notes. Don't buy the book. Trust me it'll be the biggest waste of money. Just pay attention and you'll pass.
