I would definitely recommend and take again Professor Shields. I thought that since my grade in calculus 1 wasn't good , that was going to fail this class. Her method of lecturing was amazing and very helpful in explaining hard concepts . Also she gives plenty of extra credit when you do the homework. .

Do not take Prof. Shields. She is very disorganized and arrogant. I feel like she thinks that she's actually the smartest "math" person in the room. She gives a ton of homework which is 8-10 hrs worth and you get 5 pts extra credit on tests for completion. She speaks Math and not English. It's hard to finish exams on time. She doesn't seem to want her students to succeed, so be careful.
