I was not a big fan of Professor Voges, I took her for Management 4379 . She does not give quizzes or exams (which sounds good at the beginning) but it is not in the end because you do not have much to be graded on. She does not touch much on entrepreneurship as you would hope since that is the class. She focuses more on innovations. She was not that helpful.

Kathleen Welsh-Voges, Ph.D. is a Professor of Management at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. She holds an undergraduate degree is in Accounting, an MBA; and a Ph.D. with a major in strategic management and minor in international business. She has over 20 years of experience as an upper level administrator in higher education; her responsibilities included contract development, negotiation and administration. Dr. Welsh-Voges currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate business policy classes in the College of Business, as well as other management courses such as Entrepreneurship: Creativity & Innovation, Total Quality and Lean Management, and Supply Chain Management courses. She has overseen the development of over 50 business student projects for clients primarily in the San Antonio community. Dr. Welsh-Voges has participated in study abroad trips to Mexico, Ireland, Germany, Spain and Romania. Her discipline-centered research interests focus on strategic relationships and organizational change especially in the areas of privatization and public-private partnerships. She is published in both United States and international journals. Her current research agenda is the study of institutional drivers of market orientation in small and medium size businesses in transition economies with a current focus on the Romanian wine industry.
