Responsible for all High School students taking Rogue Community College classes through the Extended Options and Early College offerings. Tasked with designing and implementing an approach that allows for ongoing contact with students that helps them access needed academic, financial and social supports. Developing a strong pathway model with clear communication points and tracking mechanisms. Manage the John and Lillian Morris Scholarship process. Work with external partners and internal departments to promote the project, smooth out entry points, assist students through completion, and promote transitions to other higher education institutions when necessary. Provide a full range of early assessment, academic coaching, college transition services, and referral services to these students, in order to support them in attaining post‐secondary credentials. Work collaboratively to arrange group or individual services within the college and with outside partners as needs arise. Track and report participation and progress of each student receiving services utilizing the designated data reporting system. Help Student Services assess whether the current types and supply of student support services matches the needs of the student population being served by the coach. Participate in the general work of both Recruitment and Educational Partnerships as time allows. Participate in the culture of the college by attending events such as annual meeting, holiday party, outing, etc. Participate in Recruitment and Educational Partnerships capacity building activities and other initiative activities as appropriate or relevant.
