Psychology
Working in the experimental psychology lab at Temple University under the direction of Philip Hineline, Kathleen had the unique experience to have hands on experimental experience by applying the principles of behavior analysis to animal subjects. During her tenure as an undergraduate student, Kathleen participated in research for the Experimental Analysis of Behavior. As a follow up to the experimental experience, Kathleen completed her undergraduate internship at the Camden Aquarium implementing behavior intervention plans for seal aggressive behaviors as a follow up to functional assessment research completed by a Temple graduate student. Kathleen continued her education at Temple by obtaining an applied practicum position at the Children’s Seashore House as a clinical assistant implementing behavior intervention plans subsequent to analogue functional analyses for children with varying diagnoses.
