    I was selected one among five other early career designers to serve on the design wing at the Great Plains Theater Conference in Omaha

    Nebraska. In this role

    I developed design concepts for five main stage play readings

    and I served as a resource for playwrights who sought scenic design ideas for plays in process. While at the week-long new plays conference in Omaha

    I spent time taking master classes and taking part in other arts productions in the evenings.

    Ruth and Wes Egan Award for Excellence in Design

    This award was voted on by a board of faculty members and given to the best design of the year in any discipline. I received this award for the set design for Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl

    directed by Nathaniel Claridad.
