Harry S. Truman College - Science
CITA National Postdoctoral Fellow
Carried out large-scale 3D time-dependent simulations of protostellar jets with Dr. Ralph Pudritz and Dr. Ouyed, to be compared with high-resolution HST observations; continued PhD research project and studied gravitational instabilities in protoplanetary disks and their potential in producing giant planets using IUHG group’s 3D radiative hydrodynamics code.
Pre-tenured Lecturer in Physics and Astronomy
Taught Physics, Astronomy and Physical Science 111 (earth science) there; initiated an undergraduate research project studying open star clusters in the Galaxy by analyzing their photometric data: see trumanscienceclub.pbworks.com; presented a poster at Protostars and Planets VI (www.mpia.de/homes/ppvi/)
Adjunct Lecturer
Taught astronomy (Earth Science 1122) and earth science (Earth Science 1140)
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
