Professor Emeritus
Taught for 35 years in the School Education, and was initially appointed to help write develop a teacher education program at the college. Designed two courses for the department, one in interdisciplinary instruction and a child development course specifically for elementary and middle school teachers. Taught both courses throughout tenure at the college. Also taught foundations of education at times and supervised small groups of student teachers each semester. Served as Chair of the Childhood Education Department several terms until retirement in 2008. Have continued to teach a course, Interdisciplinary Instructional Strategies, at Old Westbury in the fall of each year.
