This is actually more about her as an adviser. I had her for COMM 3533 and class was pretty fine. We rambled on for 1 and 1/2 hour weekly then crapped out an assignment for HW. My problem is her ability to work as an academic advisor. I didn't get any help with internships and I had to stay two extra semesters because of her. I suggest you look for another adviser if she is your adviser.
