Don't miss a day, you'll be very lost. He is good at explanations however, so you'll probably understand. He also has many office hours and help sessions. Paying attention and getting the outlines will let you pass.

Dr. Brauss is really awesome. He truly cares about his students. He can be a little heavy with the homework, he assigns 15-30 problems on My MathLab after each class. The tests are very straight forward though and come directly from the notes, plus he allows test corrections for extra points. He has a lot of office hours and always welcomes students to come and ask him any questions.

The only time I understood math was when I took Prof. Brauss' class. He made everything easy and understandable! His homework was a lifesaver because it would really push you to grasp each concept. His exams were pretty simple and tailored to the class! If you suck at math, I would highly recommend this class!
