I am a cognitive psychologist who researches uncertainty. My work focuses on a mental ability called metacognition, which is often described as “thinking about thinking” and helps people improve their self-regulation and self-awareness. My work exists at the intersection between psychology, philosophy, behavioral economics, morality, and evolution. I specifically explore and teach others how monitoring your own thoughts and actions can help you make better decisions, be more self-aware, and avoid falling victim to psychological myths and biases. My consulting work takes theoretical and evidence-based research and synthesizes it into practical concrete solutions for business and education.
