Good
Taweh has wonderful energy and is a entertaining professor, I loved her class, however her lectures aren't good. She grades very slow, but it's a tough grader if you are trying your hardest, and she has clear topics for each speech you give. She is always available outside of class to help one on one, and responds quickly.
Awesome
Professor Taweh's class was a very straightforward one. Lectures were not mandatory, but speech days were. Quizzes are easy with textbooks as well.
Good
Professor Taweh is reliable. She cares very much about her students and is very clear about what is expected of them in their speeches. There's a good amount of work in the honors section, but with clear guidelines. The reading quizzes are online and quite easy as well.

Born in Liberia and raised in American has provided me with a unique perspective of the world. As a refugee my family came to this country for the better opportunities. As a personnel in higher education my primary goal is to provide students with various opportunities to grow and develop as future leaders. I am very passionate about student development, engagement, and empowerment.
My greatest motivation to date is my drive for learning. Upon earning my Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Arts, and Sciences from Pennsylvania State University, I decided to work in Student Affairs before continuing my education. As I come to a conclusion of my Master of Arts degree, I know that I want to continue my education and obtain my Ph.D or Ed.D. My passion for learning will continue to thrive on.
While obtaining my undergraduate degree I was actively involved in extracurricular activities and service organizations to develop various skills such as leadership, interpersonal, and communication.
My philosophy as an educator is to be passionate, engaged, and empathetic. It is my belief that all students willing and able to learn need to be challenged, encouraged, and supported. Learning and development is a two-way street, my job is to never lose sight that I once was an undergraduate student. I need to be innovative in the way I fulfill my job responsibilities while still maintaining my interest in student success.
In sum, my experience thus far in higher education has taught me many things. Some of those are the need for diversity among faculty and staff, inclusion of all individuals, and student driven learning through immersive learning.
