Currently I teach anatomy and physiology, freshman biology and medical entomology at TAMU-CC. I am the director for the TAMU-CC Regional Science Olympiad. I also serve as the primary coordinator for the A&P I and II labs and Teaching Assistants. I do adjunct work for Miami Universities Project Dragonfly. My research interests are primarily in Population and Community Ecology. My Masters work involved the impacts of beach driving on shorebird communities in Corpus Christi Texas. My dissertation work evaluated associations between changes in arthropod communities and the invasive grass Microstegium vimineum.
