Awesome
Prof. McMath is honestly one of the best professors I've had. She cares about your understanding and helps you when you are struggling. She also gives excellent feedback. Class is easy and fun. I would recommend her to anyone.
University of Alabama - Consumer Science

Instructional Leadership with an emphasis in Instructional Technology
from The University of Alabama and holds a Lean Six Sigma Transactional
Green Belt certification. While serving in professional, administrative
positions at Florida State University and the University of Alabama at
Birmingham (UAB), she was also an adjunct instructor at UAB. In 2010,
Prof. McMath joined the UA faculty in the College of Human Environmental
Sciences, Department of Consumer Sciences. She teaches graduate and
undergraduate courses in consumer quality management and digital
consumer engagement. Prof. McMath is our coordinator for the area of
study in Consumer Quality Management where she also mentors and advises
graduate students. She is proud to be the recipient of a national
advising award by the National Academic Advising Association.
Prof. McMath’s conference presentations and publications explored topics
of older adults and technology adoption, virtual leadership, technology
as a tool for diversity, internationalizing schools, and
cyberbullying. She has worked in an informal research partnership with
an international consortium examining issues related to technology in
multicultural settings. Prof. McMath’s current research centers on the
Gray Digital Divide and stage assessment related to technology adoption
by older adults, expanding upon this topic to include e-commerce and
m-health. Within the domain of quality, Prof McMath is interested in
investigating training and development, and virtual teams and virtual
leadership. Her research on the gray divide and stage assessment theory
was acknowledged by MSERA, receiving the Herbert M. Handley Outstanding
