Good
Professor Pitones discusses very interesting topics in this course that makes the three hour lecture bearable, plus you have a break in the middle. Your grade consists of short, weekly discussion posts and a few essays. This is good as long as you work hard and do what he asks for the assignments or essays. The downside is that, he's not very responsive outside the class.
Average
Professor Pitones is a great guy. His lectures are long but inspiring. He relates his life to the topics that are discussed. The only downside is that he's just a part time professor in this school. And makes it known that his students at Oxnard College come first, which sucks. Other than that, I highly recommend his class.
