I love Doctor Arroyo. All the people here bashing him are mainly concerned with his accent, not his knowledge or teaching style. Despite having a different primary language than English, this man is hilarious, teaches well and has a great class set-up. You'll fall in love with him, if you give it some time and try in his class, I promise.

Professor Arroyo is honestly the GREATEST! He is truly one of the most caring people on planet earth. He does talk fast and has a little bit of an accent but he posts all his slides on Learning Suite. The teacher's assistants are able to see the test and so I highly recommenced going to the reviews. The wording of the tests were tricky but as long as you understand the concepts you should be good.

I definitely recommend, he is a great Professor. He has a bit of an accent, which made it difficult for me to understand at first, but you can always look over the slides again or go to the TAs afterwards for clarification. The TAs get to see the exam before hand and he is very clear about what is going to be on the test so GO TO THE REVEIWS!!

Prof. Arroyo is one of the most caring profs I've ever had. He's very willing to work with you individually to help you succeed. Concepts aren't hard to understand and you can actually just review the slides at home, since they cover all the material. However, you'll have to work really hard since exams are tricky. I suggest you make a friend or two!

Dr. Arroyo is very caring, wants all the students to pass, and uses four different grading systems to make sure you get the highest grade possible. Mandatory Attendance, however the lectures aren't bad, they are actually quite intriguing. For the test if you go to the TA reviews, they will give you everything you need for them. Overall Professor Arroyo is hand down the best PDBIO 120 teacher.
