Wrote successful $8 million grant proposal for the Iraq University Linkages Project which paired five Iraqi universities with U.S. institutions for curricular review

and joint research. The project was designed to strengthen Iraqi higher educational institutions and help them serve as anchors of civic polity in their communities. Developed project timeline

and assessment mechanism; recruited U.S. institutional participants; served as interim director during the roll out phase of the program; worked with linguists to develop discipline-specific English as a Second Language curricula; and helped organize the initial launching conference in Baghdad. \n

ISEP Direct is the fee-for-service program offered by the International Student Exchange Programs. I was responsible for promoting international study opportunities at 53 universities in 32 countries. In 2012
more than 195 students were placed
generating over $3.1 million in revenue. I also developed and launched a successful pilot program for U.S. community colleges
helping to extend international study opportunities to students with limited options.
