Good

Professor Duchan was a nice guy and the class was pretty good. However, he's a harsh essay grader and extremely picky when it come to things, especially grammar. He posts lecture notes and music pieces in canvas that are crucial so that you will do well in the class. Just a tip, if you want to get a good grade in essay, it must have no mistake. Overall, it's definitely not a blow off class.

Duchan is a great professor, and his class is easy. You will pass all of the exams if you just go to class and take good notes. His lectures are fun and sometimes he will do in-class, 1 question assignments based on previous material/readings. Gives rubrics and very clear grading criteria for the three essays. There are 2 quizzes, 2 exams, and the Final is not cumulative.
