Auburn, Alabama
Born in Fort Payne, Alabama, I've always had the desire to do something big with my life. I want to be able to leave a positive footprint on the world, and then take a few more steps. My goal is to be able to contribute meaningful ideas about how to deal with society's largest issues such as poverty, war, and crime. I like to think that my happiness is directly correlated to my positive contributions to our world, so the sky is the limit.

I pride myself on being a good student. In high school, I managed to be valedictorian with a GPA of 4.45 while participating in numerous clubs and sports. Those tasks taught me how to juggle responsibilities while maintaining a calm, productive attitude. In college, I was able to stay on the Dean's List while being an active participant in several clubs on campus. In my free time at Auburn, I enjoy playing basketball at the recreation center and playing music with my friends. Both require lots of patience and partnership with others.

On campus, I am an active member of two clubs: Committee of 19 and International Justice Mission (IJM). Committee of 19 is Auburn's on-campus hunger-fighting initiative, and we work to raise awareness for local and global hunger while assisting nearby organizations with hunger-related events. IJM is an organization that works to end modern-day slavery all around the world, and they're actually the biggest anti-slavery NGO out there. In Auburn's chapter, we shed light on the issue that more people or enslaved now that ever and fund-raise for our mother organization. Being involved in these clubs has fostered an affinity for teamwork and a drive to better the world.

International Justice Mission is an organization that is leading the fight against modern-day slavery, sex trafficking, sexual violence, police brutality, property grabbing, and citizens' rights abuse. They serve victims of violence all around the world, especially in developing countries. Auburn's chapter of IJM works to raise awareness for this global issue that 45 million people are victims of and to raise funds for the efforts that are being exerted throughout the globe.

  • World Food Programme

World Food Programme is an organization that works to provide food for those that don't easily have access to it or the ability to grow it. Committee of 19 is Auburn University's individual branch of the World Food PRogramme, and we aim to raise awareness for the global issue on the international as well as local level. We shed light on the problem, raise money for the aid, and host events to feed people near us.
