This program known as the C.R.E.D.I.T. Program (Community Response to Eradicate and Deter Identity Theft) was recognized by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) as first runner up for \"Excellence in Criminal Investigations\" for the year of 2008 at their international conference. This program started in 2004 and remains fully operational today
staffed with five fully-trained civilian volunteer investigators. \n\nIs a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of fraud investigations to include but not limited to: counterfeit identification
counterfeit access cards
fraudulent checks
counterfeit currency; Bunco
Internet scams and identity theft; Has published various articles and books on various topics related to fraud and identity theft. Has conducted hundreds of classes and has participated in numerous professional and community related presentations on the subject of identity theft and fraud prevention.
