I teach and conduct research at the University of Notre Dame in the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, where I also serve as Director of Undergraduate Studies and Associate Chair. I also have a joint appointment in the Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics. My research focuses on computation of compressible reacting flow fields, and allied disciplines. At the undergraduate level, I often teach thermodynamics, gas dynamics, and engineering computing methods. At the graduate level, I often teach applied mathematics, numerical methods, combustion, and fluid mechanics.
