Good

Doctor Boyne is one of the my favorite professors. He's very passionate about his teaching and is knowledgeable. I can say that his class was by no means easy. The articles were long and lots of writing was done in the class. Also, one thing that I did not enjoy was we went over essays, summaries and papers on the same subject for the whole semester. I think it just got old fast.

Awful

I was really looking forward to Professor Boyne's Intro to Lit class, until I found out how terrible he actually is. It was a very disorganized online class, and different from all my other online classes. I never disliked a professor so much, he was generally really harsh, he said I interpreted things "incorrectly". I highly recommend you don't take his class.

Awful

I took Introduction to Literature just trying to get it out of the way and this wasn't my first literature course. Yet he's such a harsh grader. He said my interpretations were wrong, and was unnecessarily harsh and unfair. In summer, I took two other eighth week classes along with this course. He's one of the worst teachers I've ever met.

Awesome

Professor Boyne was great. I really enjoyed his class. He was very enthusiastic about the information and made the class entertaining. If you put effort in your work, this class is an easy A. I felt I learned a lot in his class. Will be taking his Computer 2 class next.

Poor

He's pretty funny in Comp 2, but that stops when he calls on people at random. He kept calling on the same 5-6 people in my class, and you could tell it irritated them. His essay directions are vague, and if you don't follow them exactly, you'll have a hard time passing. In English, I usually get an A or a high B, but I only got a C here.

Good

Professor Boyne was great. He'll definitely teach you a lot of great knowledge, while keeping the class with a light heart and cracking jokes. There's not a lot of papers, so every one of them counts. It wasn't the hardest of the hardest. However, you have to work for your grade since, it's not an easy A.

Awesome

Professor Boyne is exceptional. However, you have to get involved in the reading or you will not do well in the papers and exams. There isn't a lot of homework, so your grade on everything counts. And this class is not an easy A. On the other hand, he's great, kind of quiet, but with high expectations. Overall, he's the best teacher I've ever had for English and as an English major. If you want to learn, take his class.
