The class of Professor Coquilla was pretty easy once I got the swing of it. I had trouble understanding directions at the start. Reason was, I felt like he was trying to be clear but he ended up over explaining in text. However, he did provide great feedback when giving grades. The class was great. There's a lot of extra credit that was given to keep our grades up. I highly recommend this professor in person class, if you don't want to be on your toes.

It was a really smooth experience being in in Professor Coquilla's class. I was nervous about this class and taking it online at first but the class went really well! It was a fast 8 Week course as well I personally wouldn't worry too much about the text book since he gives supplemental documents as well. He is a great teacher overall!

Professor Coquilla was an awesome teacher. The book is needed in his class, but you can just rent it. What matters most to him, is your class participation. It's a very fast track course. Just learn to manage your time. This was my first online class and I loved how he made everything very easy to understand. I learned a lot in this class. Will definitely take him again.

If you need to take Philosophy 1301, take Professor Coquilla's class! I took it online as a 8-week fast-track course. He had a clear syllabus and a very user friendly course schedule. I was a little scared at first. Although, if you are willing to read, watch videos, participate in group discussions and journal, you will pass the quizzes! I learned a lot and would definitely take him again!
