  Assistant Lecturer

  Taught academic survival skills to undergraduates. Was the primary writing instructor in the center's learning center.

• Industrial & Systems Engineering, TAMU

  Lecturer and Director, ISEN Writing Center/Departmental Outreach

  Work with undergraduates in three courses to teach writing, speaking, and enhance presentation skills. Integrate writing in one graduate and two additional undergraduate courses. Supervise writing assistants. Work with professors and PhD students to edit and revise articles.

• Texas Engineering Extension Service

  Adjunct

  Composed, edited, and revised training exercise after action reports (AAR). Coordinated and assigned work to three AAR writers. Designed exercise assessment tools to ensure compliance with Department of Homeland Security requirements.

• U.S. Army

  Colonel

  Served 27 years as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army. Held numerous leadership and law enforcement positions that included battalion command, installation provost marshal, and command in CID. Taught writing and literature at West Point and served two years as the speechwriter to the Army's vice chief of staff.
