Awful
Professor Guardiola has a very thick accent and is rude. His lectures are boring and don't make any sense because he gets himself confused and will say "this doesn't seem right" while he is working out a problem, then just continue with the slides. He doesn't ask if anyone has questions and doesn't encourage conversation, he just keeps on reading slides.
Awful
Professor Guardiola has a hard time understanding questions that students ask. Reason is, he barely speaks English. If you really have to take this class, then don't take it under him. Unless you want to teach yourself. The environment in his classroom is strict. Also, his lectures were boring because it's hard to understand him and he has a monotone voice.
Awful
I've taken math up to calc 3. At Del Mar I passed stats with an 86 but they wouldn't accept the credit. Guardiola was the only professor available for the math 3342 class. Beware! He talks softly and has a very thick accent. He does not review the material, he just reads straight from his power points. Homework is nothing like the lectures. I don't know if I will even pass. Good luck!
Average
Dr. Guardiola's class was one where every time I left his lecture I would always feel more baffled, however I never despised attending. His class is really fast paced, however I never had a problem understanding him, even with his somewhat strong accent. Overall attend class, always ask question every chance you get, and make sure to take really good notes.
Awful
He was an excellent professor at the start of the semester, but then Covid-19 struck, and he started to ghost us. He stopped lecturing and he wasn't so responsive. When a large number of students requested lectures, he declined. Due to the lack of lessons, an averagely difficult class became nearly impossible. He was unconcerned for his students' well-being. Thank God there was CASA.
