Poor
Prof. Howell doesn't give tests at all. He gives 1-3 pages worth of writing each week along with the discussion board. Assignments were easily graded as well. Group projects were hardly graded. Sometimes the whole class was baffled by the reasons that points were taken off. Overall, he gives easy and great class discussion but there were too much work to learn nothing.
Average
For Howell's class you will have to buy the textbooks He is a very nice person, however he doesn't actually communicate what his expectations are, and they are very high for assignments. You'll be left wondering ''why'' when he gives out C's on major assignments.

At the core of my work at Rowan: I firmly believe that we (society or researchers) cannot limit ourselves to a single approach to environmental problem-solving. Regulations
educational & behavioral initiatives
and market-based solutions all have an important role in effective governance. We also have to be careful to understand the different attitudes and cultures surrounding the environment and sustainability before we act. I research and teach about all of these things.
