Awful
I took this class online but it was not easy. There were a lot of quizzes which were due several times a week. The quizzes had really big and hard problem sets and experiments. I got one tenth of a point off because I was late to class. He would not round it up. Do not take this class.
Good
Economics is a fascinating subject which has direct impact on our daily lives. As we experience the result of economic and political decisions taken at the government level, we begin to understand the importance that economic decisions have on every aspect of our personal and private lives.
Good
I enjoyed Meer's Economics course. It was easier to review the material as it was all available on eCampus. The exam questions require that you apply lecture concepts. The questions can be worded in a tricky way. Meer gives us a big workload but you have to take the deadlines very seriously.

This class had a heavy workload for students, but that's because it was online. You have lots of weekly things to do, but it wasn't really bad. The exams are very different from the problem sets or quizzes, so you have to get used to that. You should always be updated in this class because you can only move forward once you've finished everything.
Awful
Professor Meer's class is ridiculously hard for no reason. Test were completely different than modules, reviews and homework. Having it as an online course only makes it that much harder. Please do not waste your time or money on this class. Trust me, take this class at community college. It'll be easier and cheaper. Do not take this class.
Awesome
Prof. Meer is amazing! His lecture vids are pretty easy to learn from. Class format includes a lot of quizzes which were a little over 80 10. Lowest few get dropped as well. Exams weren't so easy, but if you study all available practice questions, you'll do well. Problem sets can also be long, but they're doable. It was a good online class for COVID.
Awesome
Prof. Meer is an amazing prof who really cares about his students! I took him during the Spring 2019 and until now, I still think about the conversations we had in his office hours. You really won't regret taking his class! Careful though because you'll miss a lot if you don't keep track of the course. Study hard for exams!
Awesome
Professor Meer is fantastic. He's funny and very passionate about his job. He presents the material very well and cares about his students. He's very understanding as well. This class is online. So, don't fall behind and you'll be fine. There are many opportunities to meet teachers or teacher assistants in person. The teacher assistants are very helpful as well. I want to take him out for dinner.
Awful
I took this class in the spring while COVID's happening, so I expected him to be more lenient. I chose pass/fail and got a 69 in the class when only one more point would have gotten me a C. His exams are definitely hard.
Awesome
You'll really have to put in effort to get a good grade in this class. He is very enthusiastic about this class, which motivates you to work more. There are a few papers and two examinations to complete (usually). The papers become simpler as you gain a better understanding of what he's looking for, and he gives a large curve at the end, so don't get too worked up about a single low grade.
Good
I took Professor Meer's class online and didn't know what to expect. However, I had a good experience. He's passionate about the subjects he teaches. I admit that exams were difficult, but the online quizzes and problem sets will be your friend. So, you need to do them. And as long as you pay attention to lecture videos, take good and clear notes, then you'll be fine.

Dr. Meer is amazing! This was an online course in which I actually learned something. As a business major, I had to take this class, but it wasn't too horrible, even with Corona and all. I SUGGEST YOU DO THE ADDITIONAL CREDIT! It was really helpful to get an A! Go to tutors as well and developing a relationship with them can be beneficial in the long run!

I took Economics 202 this semester and although I did not do well, I really like Professor Meer. He's knowledgeable about the course. And although it's a difficult one with the right work ethic, it's manageable.

He was a superb teacher who really cared about my learning. Still, the tests were very tough. It didn't matter how much I studied, I just couldn't score a B on a test. It's all online and we have to turn in homework twice a week with a ton of work each time. Be prepared to hustle and be okay with not getting an A.
