Awesome
Prof. Ostroff is one of the smartest professors I've had at UW. He's not only a math legend but he is always willing to help and answer questions. He gives problems that would really make you smarter. I honestly found this class reasonable and enjoyable, but I really don't struggle with math.

Prof. Jonah's lectures were amazing but his exams are really tough. I wouldn't recommend taking him unless you're pretty confident. Usually, I get a 3.9/4.0 in math, but I got a 3.4 in his class.

Prof. Jonah is amazing, but his exams are unnecessarily difficult. I did well, but I feel like I'd do better with another prof. I really studied a lot for all exams. He's nice and he's a good lecturer but I don't think he's worth taking for because of his exams. I actually got a 3.6.

Professor Ostroff is a nice guy and very funny. However, his class was very difficult because not a ton of homework concepts are covered in lectures. So, I had to teach myself a lot about the course. That said, this may be because of the strange circumstances of Covid-19. However, if you ask for help, he really takes time to give you tips for studying.
Awesome
Professor Ostroff explained the concepts very well which helped me visualize what was going on behind the calculations.
Average
Professor Ostroff's exams were hard. He did not offer any extra credit on assignments. His class is tricky with time consuming questions on exams. If you get an average score, you get 3.0 GPA. And if you stay below average you get below 2.9. He teaches well though, but the grade you'll get is not worth it.
Poor
Wouldn't recommend this class. Our exams has three questions, one of which is a question that we haven't seen before. As a result, working through all of the textbook issues and taking dozens of practice exams hasn't helped me improve my grades. You will be graded based on your creativity.
