Mintmire is horrible. If you do not go to class with this professor, you will learn the same amount by not going to class. He gives sample exams which are very hard. Do not take this class here. Unless you want to struggle for a B.

He is the best example of an intelligent professor that should not teach. He does not solve problems in class, just displays it in front the document camera and explains it really quickly. Talked to him about solving the problem with the class and he said, "well if I use sharpie it'll bleed through but if I use pen no one will see." :(
