cultural studies
and writing Threshold Concepts
such as \"Writing enacts and creates identities and ideologies\" (Tony Scott). One of the most important ideas for my classes is cultural inclusion for students in the writing curriculum. Some of my favorite books include: Interests and Opportunities: Race
Racism and University Writing Instruction (Steve Lamos)
Toward a Composition Made Whole (Jody Shipka); and fiction- War By Candlelight (Daniel Alarcon)
