Awesome
D'Anca is my favorite teacher. I enjoyed his Applied Psychology. He encourages participation, reflection, open, honest, communication and bonding. If the conversation gets too deep, he knows when to to let it go. I recommend him.
Awesome
Prof. D'Anca is my favorite prof ever! He clearly knows his stuff and he really wants you to learn. His assignments, exams, and quizzes are pretty easy. You just really have to read the textbook and listen during class. I would suggest answering the questions in the textbook because they are very similar to the tests.
Awesome
Professor D'Anca is a caring and amazing teacher with a great sense of humor. His insights taught me so much about myself and others. His class is one of a kind. It should be required to help equip students with the tools to tackle everyday life. Sign up for his class if you want to have life long friends and memories you've never imagined you'd have before.
Awesome
Dr. D'Anca is one of my favorite professors ever. To explain a concept, he will paint a very clear picture in your mind. He actually makes me want to go to his class. His tests can be pretty tough sometimes, but if you pay attention during class you will be good. He also doesn't require you to buy the textbook.
Awesome
I took Psychology 107 under Professor D'Anca. He encourages reflection and all schools of thought during his class discussions. He asks many thought provoking and introspective questions to start a discussion, in which everyone can participate. He gives very useful and encouraging feedback, to each individual student. I would highly recommend this professor and take his class again.
Poor
I always wanted to enjoy Applied Psychology, but this course made me dislike it. I think his lecturing should have been better; he made everyone speak for 45 minutes about themselves, and that was the whole semester. I didn't feel like I learned much, and I was dissatisfied with how he dismissed students who had difficulty discussing personal issues.
Average
If you are the type of person who can absorb information when someone just talks to you for three hours accompanied by slides, do take Professor D'Anca. From what I understand, he's good at his specific teaching style. Unfortunately for me, I didn't absorb the information well in that particular environment. It's not impossible though.
