Good
Nara is great as a individual and he's very careful. I had a lot of private things going on and he was so ready to work with me. He's making lectures interesting in school and we're watching a lot of videos. He does, however, play up the theater's sexual aspect, so if that upsets you, he may not be your best bet. Many quizzes, but it's simple!
Awesome
I was surprised to not be bored by the class at all. Theatre was given a new sense of importance by him as he related it to many other things. His policies were strict but he's flexible on missing work. He let me turn in a few missing assignments at the end of the semester.
Awesome
Professor Nara is one of the simplest courses to obtain credit. You will have about 4 papers, not all of the essays that some require a response to a question. His quizzes are all online and its compulsory to show up to Professor Nara that he is attending, I skipped like crazy and still made a B. So it's up to you. You've got two games and both are on the mt & finals.
Awesome
I loved this teacher, there were only 2 mandatory plays and quizzes on those productions. Also extra credit would be given for those that read plays in class. The biggest issue with this class would go on for weeks without doing a thing then we'd have a huge amount of homework and quizzes. Overall great teacher!
Awesome
I took Professor Nara's online class for the June semester. I was very stressed out because it was my first month long online class. To my surprise, it was quite literally the easiest I've ever had. He practically gave out 100s and gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit. Also, you don't need to buy the book.
