Koopman is great! You take the first test. You take a second test. Your score is averaged. If you want to try for a better score you can take it a third time on the next class day Koopman encourages participation. He is very involved with your learning.

Great class! There is one final, three test papers and one group project. He gives really good feedback and is clear about what he wants in the papers and what will be on the test papers . Great professor! His lectures are interesting (given the subject matter). I Would definitely take him again if he teaches another class. There is one final, three test papers and one group project. The professor lets you take the test 3 times. The first time what you would do with any test. The second shot is in a group where you get a chance to retake the same test with the next class. Then, he will average your grades. The essays are generously graded. The final is an exam which he will let you make corrections before you take it again. You can learn from your mistakes.

Good

Professor Koopman is great. However, he's a tough grader on the three papers that you'll write. He will expect detailed writing, that isn't fully asked for in the rubric. His exams were per individual and by a group with only two tries. I got mid-B's on exams because some questions from the book were in-depth that you wouldn't know you should focus on reviews. Honestly, this killed my chance of getting an A.
