Good
Prof. Carlin was funny and caring. She can get angry at time, but that's because some students ask stupid questions or they don't participate. Her lectures aren't organized as well. She only records everything on Panopto, so you won't actually miss much if you don't go to class. Remember that her study guide problems match her exams number by number.
Good
This class is pretty tough because there's heaps of material to learn. Even though the tests let you use your notes, you need to understand the material well before test day, or you'll waste too much time scouring through your notes. Your grades come from 3 tests and 3 homework assignments that are like taxes (each connected to a test). Professor Jocelyn Carlin from the University of Pittsburgh is a really reliable teacher who gives clear explanations.
