    As a nurse educator at GCU, I progressed from online instructor to part time adjunct lab and clinical professor to full time nursing faculty with additional duties of subject matter expert for nursing fundamentals and obstetric nursing during the curriculum rewrites and roll out of those didactic, lab and clinical courses. Other courses taught include introduction to nursing, health assessment, pharmacology, community health, school health, public health, home health in the capacity of lab and clinical instructor, and also med-surg nursing as a lab instructor. Oriented new faculty members to the lab courses of fundamentals, health assessment, pharmacology, community health/home health/population health, medical surgical and ob lab courses. Served as lead lab faculty for fundamentals, ob and community health/home health/population health labs.

I implement course instruction for those sections assigned to me and mentor fellow faculty members who are responsible for teaching the other sections. I write all of the exams, analyze exam results and rewrite exam questions as needed. I plan and supervise both lab and clinical instruction for those labs that accompany the nursing fundamentals courses. I have participated as a committee member on a variety of campus committees including "Admissions Committee", "Teaching Excellence Committee", "Phoenix Engagement Team Committee", "Scholarship Committee" and "Experience Nursing Day Committee".
