Professor Eddy's course has a lot of reading. At first, I was a bit skeptical of an online course However, I would call it a fine experience. I'm very interested in cybersecurity. And this is one of the only non-2xx level courses available for it. I'm enrolled in CS167 as well. So, I look forward to moving on and seeing what else is there.

I like Jim as a person, but I have a difficult time understanding his lectures much of the time. I am also quite confused with his point system on exams and quizzes. More than half of the grade for the final exam in this course fell on two questions that barely related to the stuff we learned. I would still enjoyed his courses though.

This was my third class with Professor Eddy. The first two was CS 121 and CS 166. So far, I've enjoyed the online courses with him. His lectures for 121 were sometimes a bit slow. However, he's clearly knowledgeable and is passionate about this course. I would take a class again with him because he's very willing to help the students.
