I have been teaching since 2000 at which time I obtained my Ph.D. from American University. I taught for two years at Alfred University under the great leadership of Dr. Larry Greil. From 2002-2007 I taught at Ball State University. My areas of expertise in Juvenile Justice and Corrections became more focused with the assistance of some wonderful colleagues including Dr. Michael P. Brown and Dr. Gregory Morrison. In fall 2007 I began teaching at my Alma Mater Buffalo State College in the Department where I obtained my Master's degree in 1994. I continue to conduct research in Juvenile Justice and Corrections, however, my primary area of interest is incarcerated parents, particularly mothers.
