● Develop and implement quality training for paraprofessionals each semester based on student needs
● Evaluate current vocational course curriculum and develop new curriculum according to current research and department needs
● Assess vocational needs of students with disabilities from 9th grade to age 21 and create appropriate programming to meet those needs
● Create and implement lesson plans designed to equip students with academic learning strategies and practical career and employability skills
● Maintain ongoing evaluation to determine the effectiveness of teaching methods
● Develop new transition program that involves work and life skills within the Branford community
● Maintain strong collaborative and consultative relationships with community partners to ensure success of transition program

● Design and implement Universal Design for Learning professional development for faculty at a local community college, including online webinars and in-person seminars
● Assist college faculty in identifying best practices in course pedagogy for students with disabilities in their courses
● Participate in college wide faculty professional development regarding Learning Management System, Blackboard and best practices for online education
● Coordinate with technology department to ensure training materials and resources are up to date and available
● Implement and analyze surveys after each professional development seminar to identify positives and areas for improvement
● Develop reports and presentations to inform stakeholders throughout the state of Louisiana of current status of projects
