I'm a Master of Science in Applied Statistics with experience at NASA/JPL, and eyes towards the future! Looking forward to a career applying my skills to building a better tomorrow, whether that be in AI/machine learning, space exploration, or improving conditions on our planet Earth.
I've been fortunate to enjoy a breadth of mathematical and statistics education with a great deal of experience programming in many different languages. My most exciting projects have been working on satellite data from AIRS and CrIS studying our environment and weather, as well as data leading towards the discovery and classification of new exoplanets. These projects also included parallel computing and networking with NASA supercomputers.
On the pure math side my Master of Mathematics thesis research was in the discovery and analysis of new symmetric presentations of abstract groups. I also enjoy playing and teaching both classical and electric guitar, and exploring new concepts in music theory.
For the past 6 years I've been employed as an Associate Professor in Math at Riverside City College, most often teaching Statistics.
I'm excited to connect with like minded individuals for networking and career opportunities! Thank you for checking out my profile :)
