Jeremy Trombley has a PhD and MAA in Environmental Anthropology from the University of Maryland. His NSF funded research explores the use of computational modeling for environmental management. Specifically, he is interested in the way that different modeling methods influence the structure of environmental management organizations. He has also conducted research on: the controversy surrounding coal-fired power in Western Kansas, traditional cultural properties (TCPs) in Nevada, the transport of invasive species from coastal Maine to the Mid-Atlantic via the bloodworm trade, and subsistence fishing on the Anacostia and Potomac rivers in the DC Metro area. In addition to conducting research, Jeremy is also teaching courses in cultural and biological anthropology at SUNY Cortland.
